His Word Above All

My desk could do with a bit of roughening. It’s too tidy. Is it mental block or I’m just a clean freak?! Whatever the case, everything from preparing my taxes, household bills to working on this blog are often neatly tucked away in wallets. Actually, this best describes how my brain function. Any deviation from this is an indication of lack of productivity or good mindset. Trust me, I’m working…🤫

My planner…? It is simple, I’m an obsessive note-taker and fastidious about organisation. I have graduated to electronic notes and reminders than paper exercise. The only snag is that I get my ideas while in the shower. So I have to keep reciting them until I get out and speedily make my way to my device, to itemise, sometimes draw rough sketches, and plot my thoughts. Researching is the best part of working on any of my thoughts, and I enjoy it when it all come together into a beautiful piece in plain English.

There are millions of tips out there, and I won’t pretend to be an expert. The only piece of advice is lots of mints handy to shew/bite if your ear hurts at an altitude; you’ll thank me later…

If you can please permit me to brag, I’m the queen of organisation. I can organise anything for the universe until there’s nothing left to organise. I need to learn to stop and just take intentional breaths in and live for the moment.
